Hi All, I've a bit of an interesting one. Block Opera Browser for Education Client Security. So i'm a little confused, did it just remove the reference to the software, but left the software on the distribution points, or did the software become an orphan on the distribution point and I need to run the clean up tool that comes with the latest version of config manager on the distribution point to get rid of the application in question I went and checked that server and again the amount of available space didn't change, and I figured I would have gained 1.5 Gig. It gave an error regarding "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." but it removed the application anyway. In here I found the application in question, so I highlighted it and selected Remove. ![]() I found a distribution point that would have also had the same software on it, right clicked on it and went to properties, and then Content Tab. Next I tried going into SCCM Config Manager on the main server and went to Administration, then Distribution Points. BUT there was no change in the amount of free space on the actual distribution point server, I was expecting to free up about 1.5 GIG, but didn't happen.Ģ. And sure enough when I check that distribution point in the SCCM Config manager it is no longer there. It asked if I wanted to removed the application from that distribution point and said and it said it was done. ![]() ![]() Here I could see all of the distribution points that the application was pushed out to, I selected one and then selected Remove at the bottom of the window. ![]() in the SCCM Configuration Manager, went to, Software Library, Applications, found one of the applications in question, went to properties of the application, then to the Content Locations tab. On the main SCCM server I have a number of apps that have been retired and can be removed, I have gone about this is two different ways,ġ. I have multiple distribution points and some of them are getting pretty full and running out of space. I landed into SCCM by being told, "hey your the new SCCM guy, along with the other guy, who basically got told the same thing", we are both trying to figure this out on the fly I have done a search here on SCCM, but can't find anything for this particular topic, ![]()
